Permanent residence for only 4 999 CZK for 5 years

We can have only one place of permanent residence and we can find it marked on our ID card, it is in the register of citizens and we use it in many places, especially when dealing with the authorities. According to the law, the place of permanent residence means the address of a citizen’s residence in the Czech Republic, which is recorded in the basic register of inhabitants in the form of a reference link (address place code) to the address reference in the basic register of territorial identification, addresses and real estate, which the citizen chooses, as a rule, in the place where he or she has family, parents, apartment or employment.

Typically, this means an apartment, a house or a cottage. In any case, permanent residence does not give rise to any right to the place in question. It is only a record. You must always prove your right to your residence by a specific contract, consent to the location of your permanent residence or an extract from the land register.

Changing your place of residence is common and easier than you might think. Nowadays, all you have to do is visit the municipal office where you want to establish your new permanent residence. You fill in an application form and pay a fee of 50 CZK. You must provide proof of a lease or purchase contract, consent to the location of your permanent residence or an extract from the Land Registry (if you buy a property). Everything is usually processed within a few days.

The change of permanent address itself cannot be processed online at the municipal office. We will give you a Consent for the location of your permanent address, on the basis of which your address will be changed after your personal visit to the municipal office.

Many people use the change of address for permanent residence, e.g. for easier access to a doctor, a nursery for children or parking. These are all legitimate reasons. If you don’t reside in the area, getting an appointment with your chosen doctor can be challenging, not to mention parking options in big cities – and especially now that cities are introducing colored parking zones for residents. The difference in the cost of parking can sometimes mean savings of thousands of crowns per year.

The service of granting permanent residence fulfils all the requirements imposed by law. At the same time, we screen all clients who establish permanent residence with us. You will be in good company.

For the first year, we’ll add receiving and scanning your incoming mail for free as a bonus. We accept only regular correspondence delivered by Czech post office (we do not accept mail from other companies, couriers, etc.). Each additional year the service costs 129 CZK per month and if you do not use it, you can simply cancel it and you will have your permanente residence without any additional fees.
